We offer a combined program of in-house training and group classes. This comprehensive, custom tailored program includes 4 to 8 weeks of in-kennel training (depending on your training goals). Your dog stays in our comfortable, secure facility and gets three individual training sessions per day with one of our professional trainers. These sessions focus on the dog’s specific needs, including obedience, socialization with dogs and/or people, resource guarding and more.
We have spacious private stalls for each dog, large fenced-in areas outside, and a heated training arena indoors to let your dog play and run in any weather. While the stalls are large, our kennel is small. By limiting the number of dogs we can host, we make sure that we give your dog all the attention they need. All dogs enjoy additional running and playing sessions, either with other dogs or alone, depending on their preference.
In the second part of the training, the owner learns what the dog has been taught, so both dog and owner can learn to communicate and operate as a team. In order to do so, owners attend private classes, with the same trainer that trained their dog.
- 4 weeks: on-leash training
- 6 weeks: on-leash + recall and “leave it”
- 8 weeks: complete off-leash training, including hand signals, commands in motion and commands from a distance
- 12 weeks: advanced training (such as field work and therapy dogs)
In order to start the program, your dog needs to be vaccinated, including Rabies, DHPP and Kennel Cough (Bordetella). We also require results from a stool sample, checked by a vet, no more than 2 weeks before the start of the program. In addition to your dog’s vaccination records, please print and bring with you the Training Agreement.
